The Dutch government has announced that it will suspend use of the “AstraZeneca” vaccine until at least the end of March, as a precautionary measure.
She said: “More than 43,000 vaccination appointments have been canceled, due to the suspension decision.”
She added: “This step, which follows a similar decision taken by Ireland earlier today, is based on reports from Denmark and Norway on the potentially dangerous side effects of the vaccine.”
And Norwegian health officials said on Saturday that “three Norwegian health workers who recently received the vaccine are being treated in hospital due to bleeding, blood clots and low platelet counts.”
