He explained during his meeting with the show “In the Public” on the Saudi channel, that the use of technology in education has shown many options for decision-makers, which calls for thinking about how to ‘use this technology in the development of education itself.

He said that online learning has been around the world for more than 30 years and that many Saudi universities rely on online learning, noting that the adoption of more than 7 million students in e-learning during the pandemic period has contributed to the involvement of parents and teachers in the educational process.

Al-Walidi said distance education serves certain groups, especially those between the ages of 25 and 45, noting that this category makes it difficult for them to quit their jobs and go to college to learn.
