Syrian singer Mayada Basilis was born in 1967 in the city of Aleppo, and began her singing career at the age of nine on Radio Aleppo.
The late singer released 14 albums starting in 1986, starting with the album “Ya Qatli Al Hajar”, a song from ancient Syrian folklore.
His song “Kazdak Helou”, which won the Golden Award for Best Arabic Song in 1999, is his passport to the world of fame.
