Tanta’s board of directors met and made strong decisions after the soccer team refused to train or play games.

The Tanta Club Board of Directors decided at its next meeting:

– Dismissal of the technical director and the general trainer while keeping the rest of the assistant technical staff and the medical and administrative apparatus in the state.

– 20% reduction on the contract for each player who abstains from training.

A deduction of 3,000 pounds from each player for each day they stop training.

– Stop all financial contributions.

– Use the junior sector to perform the remaining matches of the life of the competition.

Inform the Egyptian Football Association of any penalties imposed.

Tanta players had refused to participate in training or play games due to late payments.
