The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, answered the most important questions regarding the reception of Corona vaccines in the Kingdom.
Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali said there is no need to postpone pregnancy after taking the vaccine, indicating that there is no negative effect on fertility due to taking the vaccine. .
He explained that receiving the vaccine did not change a person’s willingness to donate blood, stressing that there was no link between the vaccine and the causes of stroke and that all relevant and competent authorities had proven that ‘there was no connection between them.
He felt that the only contraindication to taking the vaccine is severe overimmunity with the same vaccine, stressing that breastfeeding women can receive the vaccine and that this will not affect either her or the child.
He continued, “Corona testing should not be done before taking the vaccine,” explaining that no deaths or serious side effects have been observed as a result of receiving the vaccine.
