Comedian Bill Cosby was released after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his sexual assault conviction.
Cosby, 83, spent two years behind bars on a total prison sentence of three to 10 years.
Cosby was convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting former basketball player Andrea Constand at his home in 2004.
A Pennsylvania court sentenced the American comedian to three to ten years in prison after being convicted of sexual assault in September 2018.
At the time, the court had called the famous comedian a “violent sexual predator”, which had forced him to undergo psychiatric treatment for life, and put him on the list of sex offenders.
Cosby’s name rose to prominence in the 1980s with his role in “The Cosby Show”, when he played the role of the father in an African-American family living in Brooklyn, New York. He was later called the “American Father”.
