The Health Ministry said that “Sputnik-V” requires the injection of two doses, provided that one dose is separated from another by a period of at least 21 days.
As for the “Abivac Corona” vaccine, two doses must be injected, with an interval of 14-21 days between them. The “Quivak” vaccine also requires the injection of two doses 14 days apart, knowing that the Russian “Chumakov” Center wishes to increase this period to 21-28 days to increase the effectiveness of the vaccine.
As for the “Sputnik-Lite” vaccine, it only requires a single dose injection.
The recommendations indicated that the “Sputnik” vaccine did not lose its effectiveness within 12 months of receipt. But under the conditions of a generalized outbreak of the epidemic, this period is reduced to 6 months. Therefore, the Ministry of Health has recommended that anyone who received the vaccine more than 6 months ago repeat the vaccine.
