What is the point of walking barefoot?

Sputnik

Doctor Vladimir Khrushchev said that there is a great health benefit to walking barefoot without shoes, because on the soles of the feet there is a large amount of biologically active points.

The doctor explains: “Walking barefoot stimulates and activates all the organs and systems of the body by massaging the nerve points associated with them and located on the sole of the foot: we are talking here about the liver, pancreas and brain.

He pointed out that when a person walks barefoot, all the limbs of his body are affected and fully activated, thanks to the massage of the bioactive points. It is especially important to choose a suitable place to walk. According to him, the best option is to walk on round pebbles, as well as on grass and sand. He mentioned that when walking on pebbles, the soles of the feet are massaged and the joints are trained. The doctor advised not to walk barefoot for more than two or three hours a day, as most people have flat feet. He added that it is not recommended to walk without shoes, on hard and scuffed surfaces, as it only hurts. It is also forbidden to walk barefoot on asphalt or concrete.
