And WebMD quoted these experts as saying that these foods are often stored in the body as fat, which studies have been shown to be the main cause of heart problems.
Experts have pointed out that the most important of these foods are white rice, white bread, and pasta, as all three foods lack healthy fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
Experts added: “These three foods are among the refined grains that quickly turn into sugar that the body stores as fat.”
Experts have advised buying products containing “100 percent whole grain” to avoid these risks.
And they continued, “Whole grains contain antioxidants, vitamins, fiber, protein, minerals, and healthy fats, making them the best choice for avoiding any health problems.”
It should be noted that statistics indicate that approximately 17 million people worldwide die from cardiovascular disease each year.
