French club Paris Saint-Germain announced today, Thursday, the official contract of former Real Madrid captain, veteran Spanish defender Sergio Ramos.
“Paris Saint-Germain are happy to announce that Sergio Ramos has joined their ranks,” the Parisian club said on its official website.
He added: “The Spain defender has signed a two-year contract, to be linked with the club until June 30, 2023.”
Ramos has joined the Paris team on a free transfer, after his contract with Real Madrid expires, and will wear his traditional number “4” jersey.
Ramos, 35, became Paris Saint-Germain’s third contract in the current summer transfer window, following Dutchman Georginio Wijnaldum and Moroccan Ashraf Hakimi.
