Al-Marsad Journal: A match between the Egyptian women’s football team and a men’s team caused a sensation on the Egyptian street.
In an event which is the first of its kind in Egyptian football, the Egyptian women’s team faced off against the Cairo youth team, as part of the Egyptian women’s preparations for the upcoming qualifiers.
The match ended with the victory of the Cairo youth team, 4-2, according to Russia Today.
Egypt’s women’s team coach Mohamed Kamal attributed his decision to host a game against a men’s team to his willingness to face his battalion with a strong men’s team, noting that playing a game against a women’s team Strong African requires a high financial cost, and playing against a weak team will not benefit the Egyptian team “Women of Egypt”.
Kamal stressed that he achieved the goal of facing the Cairo team, despite the loss.
