The singer Latifa wanted to support the people of her homeland, Tunisia, in their crisis with the epidemic of the Corona virus, by praying for him and his country, by expressing her great sadness and by wishing that other Arab countries argue.
And Latifa wrote, via her official Twitter account: “Lord, I entrust to my country, my family and my people, Lord, your kindness to Tunisia. You are capable of anything, O Lord of the worlds.”
And she added: “My heart hurts for my country, Lord, all countries help Tunisia, and I have a lot of hope in our Arab countries. The situation is difficult and catastrophic, and God our people do not deserve to be in it.
A spokeswoman for the Tunisian health ministry said last Thursday on Radio Mosaic that the country’s health system had collapsed, with intensive care units full, doctors exhausted and the rapid spread of the pandemic of Corona.
Tunisia recorded nearly 10,000 new Corona virus infections, and 134 deaths, on Wednesday, in a record daily increase since the start of the pandemic, with growing fears the state may not be able to control the outbreak.
She added: “We are in a catastrophic situation. The health care system has collapsed. You can only find a bed with great difficulty. We have a hard time supplying oxygen. Doctors are suffering from unprecedented fatigue.
