Ahmed Magdy, the club’s former star Zamalek, expressed his astonishment at the postponement of more than 7 appearances for club Al-Ahly in the Egyptian Premier League this season.
Magdy said in televised statements: “On what basis are 30 or more players entered in club rosters before the start of the season, as long as there is an intention to postpone ?!”
He continued: “I have not seen in any league in the world that this number of matches has been postponed for a team, for example the English Federation have not made the decision to postpone the matches of Chelsea and Manchester City after their qualification for the Champions League Final, having faced both teams in the league competition, three days before the European final.
