Spanish newspaper El Confidencial has leaked audio recordings of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, insulting some of the club’s legends, including Iker Casillas and Raul Gonzalez.
The audio recording dates back to 2006, after his resignation as club president.
Perez said at the time: “Casillas is not the Madrid keeper, it’s the biggest failure we face, but what happened is that they admire him.”
“Casillas is one of the biggest frauds we have been exposed to, as has Raul,” he added.
“Real Madrid’s biggest fraudsters are Raul and Casillas,” he added.
Casillas currently works as deputy director of the club’s foundation, while Raul works as a coach for Real Madrid’s second team.
“Casillas is not a Real Madrid goalkeeper. It was the big failure we had, what happens is they love him… This is one of the big scams, the second is Raúl. The two big scams of Real Madrid. “A reflection delivered in September 2006 https://t.co/ribfspSvHv pic.twitter.com/pWAAsK35Ez
