Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Sheikh آلThe Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, explained the decision to remove the hair and nails of the one who sacrifices himself.

Sheikh Abdul Aziz stressed that if the prohibition was issued by the Prophet, peace be upon him, it must be taken and accepted because of the word of the Almighty: “And whatever the Messenger has given you , take it, and whatever it forbids you, abstain. “

And he added that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade taking anything from hair, nails and skin when he came in Sahih Muslim: “If you see the crescent of Dhul-Hijjah, and that one of you wants to sacrifice, he must not touch his hair and his nails.

He pointed out that the Prophet’s hadith, peace and blessings be upon him, is proof that it is forbidden to take the hair, nails or skin of the one offering the sacrifice if the tenth is inscribed on him, until which slaughters his sacrifice.
