The Defense Ministry announced that an accidental explosion occurred this morning at one of the sites for the collection and destruction of unusable ammunition remains outside the town of Al- Kharj.
Ministry official spokesman Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki said the explosion occurred at (0510) this morning (Wednesday), corresponding to July 14, 2021 AD.
Brigadier General Al-Maliki added that there were no injuries or losses – fortunately – and that the accidental accident is being monitored by the relevant authorities.
