Today, Saturday, weather and climate researcher Abdul Aziz Al-Hussaini expects rains that could reach the level of torrential rains in some governorates in the Riyadh region in the coming days.
He explained, during his intervention on the show “mbc in a week”, that the summer should in fact end on September 6, and astronomically on the 22 of the same month.
The Riyadh region is also expected to experience heavy and medium rains, and it may reach torrential rains in some governorates, especially as we head west and southwest of Riyadh, noting that this situation should extend beyond the end of the Hajj, but it may be limited to the southern and southwestern region of the Kingdom.
He added that Riyadh is expected to experience a relative drop in temperatures, given its average at this time of year, which reaches 43.5 degrees Celsius.
Al-Hussaini said that while the predictions are true, what Riyadh is going through is a historic situation, especially since it is an unusual situation at this time of year.
