Spanish newspaper “Marca” has confirmed that Real Madrid club management have put Belgian striker Eden Hazard on the sales list during the current summer transfer window.

And Marca said in a report on Monday that Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez has decided to sell Hazard and use the financial return to fund other deals.

The newspaper stressed that Real Madrid were looking for financial solutions to finance the takeover of Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, whose contract expires next summer with his club Paris Saint-Germain.

Real Madrid are looking to bring in the young French star during the current transfer window as Perez wants to do without ineffective elements of the squad, in order to save money in the deal with Mbappe.

Real Madrid face a major slump in the Mbappe deal, as the Paris club cling to the French star with his great financial demands to hamper the completion of his transfer to the Royal Club.

It should be noted that Real Madrid signed Hazard from Chelsea in the summer of 2019 for around 150 million euros, to make up for the departure of their all-time top scorer, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, to Juventus, but the Belgian no. failed to play this role.

Hazard continued the injury curse and only appeared in 43 games, with Real Madrid in all competitions for two seasons, and only scored 5 goals, in addition to 8 assists.
