Promoters of narcotic hashish in Lebanon have complained about the border closures, pointing out that the spread of the drug and border closures have led to the drop in prices, bringing the price per kilo to $ 50 and $ 100, after it went from $ 500 to $ 1,800.

One of the traffickers said he would only earn $ 10,000 selling 100 kilograms of drugs, adding that this amount would not meet the needs of a family of 5 or 6 children, nor the cost of their education.

And he asked the government of his country to open the crossings and not to tighten their closure so that they can promote their drugs, and this, one day a week, according to what a report of the channel OTV showed. .

He added that the cannabis they are promoting covers the expenses of families, stressing that these families can no longer find what they can spend to educate their young people and children, stressing that the continuation of this situation will steal the families. families.

Another drug promoting element said they have stored amounts of hash that would be sufficient for the Lebanese for the next 100 years, pointing out that hash is their only source of income, while another demanded legislation allowing them to legally engage in the hashish trade. or alternatives to other plants to be grown.

It should be noted that the Kingdom has announced the ban on the entry of shipments of Lebanese vegetables and fruits or transiting through its territory until the Lebanese authorities concerned provide sufficient and reliable guarantees for them to take the measures necessary to stop systematic drug smuggling operations against it.
