Sources revealed today (Monday) that Al Hilal club management received a heavy blow in the contract with West Bromwich Albion playmaker, Brazil’s Mateos Pereira, during the transfer window of ‘summer in progress.
The sources said, according to the British newspaper “The Sun”, that West Ham United are about to contract Mateus Pereira, to support the team from next season.
The sources added that West Ham has come closest to signing the player after Al Hilal’s financially weak display compared to what West Brom would like to get.
Some reports had said that Al Hilal had submitted an offer worth € 15million, with the possibility of raising it to € 17million, as the England club wanted to get € 25million.
