Al-Marsad Journal: The Ministry of Tourism clarified that all visitors arriving with a previously issued tourist visa must pay an additional fee of 40 riyals at the airport to cover insurance for medical costs related to the Corona virus.

Tourism had announced that the Kingdom would open its doors to tourists and lift the entry suspension for holders of tourist visas, from August 1, for fully immunized tourists.

She stressed that all visitors coming to the country on a valid tourist visa must provide proof that they have received full doses of one of the four vaccines currently approved in the Kingdom: two doses of the vaccine Oxford / AstraZeneca, Pfizer / Piontech or Moderna, or a dose of Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

She said visitors who have received two doses of the Sinopharma or Sinovac vaccine will be accepted, provided they receive an additional dose of one of the four vaccines approved in the Kingdom.
