The great poet Ezzat Al-Jundi, who died at the age of 70, has passed away in the last few hours and has long been a member of the Egyptian Society of Authors and Composers.

The late poet was born on March 13, 1948. He became a member of the Society of Authors and Composers of Egypt “Sassiro” on January 5, 1976. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Society for the first time on 24 July 1998, and lasted 6 years, and was re-elected in 2005, 2007 and 2009.

And the deceased enriched the singing scene with hundreds of beautiful and successful songs for all the singers of the Arab world, starting with the era of authentic rapture, such as Muhammad Abdul Muttalib, Karim Mahmoud, Muharram Fouad, Muhammad Rushdi, Maher Al-Attar, Muhammad Al-Ezaby, Fayda Kamel and Fatima Eid, where he introduced them to a group of their most beautiful and famous songs.

Among the most famous and successful songs of his career are: “Alamouk forget me” by Laila Ghofran, “Sidi Wesalak”, “Ain Al-Hawa” and “Omri Ma’ak” for Angham, “Ghaddar Tabat Al- Hawa ”by Imad Abdel Halim and“ My Son ”by Mohamed Abdel Hadi, and many songs from major series such as“ Senbel After a Million ”by Mohamed Sobhi, who has dramatic experience, where he wrote the script and the dialogues of “The Winds of the East” directed by Khaled Bahgat and with Mahmoud Yassin.

Ezzat is the author of the song “Lolaki” by artist Ali Hamida, which is the best-selling song in the history of the Arab world, with nearly 5 million copies.
