Transportation projects in this Saudi city exceed half a billion dollars

The Saudi Ministry of Transport and Logistics allowed visitors to the projects exhibition held at the Prince Sultan Civilization Center in Tabuk to see a number of its projects implemented in the region, with a total value of over of 590 million riyals.

The projects under implementation included the Bridge Implementation Project at the Intersection of Tabuk Al-Qulayba Road with Tabuk Al-Jawf Road, with a total value of over 57 million riyals and a 65% completion rate.

This is in addition to the project to complete the duplication of Tabuk Duba-Tabuk Road for the ninth phase with a length of (6.4) km and the tenth with a length of (7.4) km, with a total value of the two phases which exceeded 138 million rials.

Also, the rehabilitation project of the Tabuk-Qaim country road, 56 km long, the armored crossroads project, and the completion of the first phase of the dualisation of the Tabuk-Sharma road, with a length of ( 30) km, at a total cost of over 167 million riyals, and the Tabuk Haql Road Duplication Completion Project and Additional Works to Connect the Tabuk-Madina Road Highway to Al-Moadham Road , according to the Saudi press agency.

The Ministry of Transport also informed visitors to the exhibition about the percentage of completion of projects aimed at increasing and improving the level of safety on existing roads in the region, which includes improving some surface intersections, the placement of protective barriers and warning and guide signs, the implementation of vibrations on both sides of the road, as well as the placement of fencing for some roads and lighting for some intersections , which cost more than 90 million riyals.

The exhibition of development and service projects in the city of Tabuk will continue its activities until next Monday, and many government agencies will participate to present their projects, which include university, educational and health projects, electricity and water, projects belonging to the municipality of Tabuk, housing, transport, environment and agriculture.
