Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoghbi apologized for receiving the “Murex d’Or” award, which is awarded annually to Lebanese creative artists, at the ceremony to be held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The Lebanese artist attributed the reason for the rejection of the award to the difficult economic and political conditions that his country has experienced in recent times.
Al-Zoghbi hailed, via “Twitter”, the holding of the ceremony under these circumstances in Lebanon, and called the insistence to organize it in Beirut as a “colossal step”.
She said, “I hope the resurrection of Lebanon is near, because Lebanon is not doing well.
There is no doubt that a price #murex_dor Prepare from interfaces #Lebanon civilization, and there is no doubt that the insistence on organizing it #Beyrouth Despite all the tragedies, this is a giant leap.
