Unaizah Chamber of Commerce agricultural committee member and date exporter Youssef Al-Dakhil reviewed details of his experience with exporting dates to Europe.
During his meeting on the show “Al-Rased” on the Al-Ekhbariya channel, he stressed that the Kingdom has the best types of dates in the world, and that it is also characterized by diversity.
He explained that when they tried to feed elementary school children in the Netherlands, they described it as “Arabian chocolate,” noting that Europeans praised the ease of swallowing Kingdom dates.
He said that if the investment is made in opening markets for dates in Europe, there will be a better economic return than any other business sector.
