Saudi Post (Sabil) stressed the need to check the status of the shipment before dispatch and verify that it does not include any of the prohibited items from the shipment, in order to avoid delaying the delivery of sending or resending it to the source.
La Poste clarified that there are 9 types of items whose shipment is prohibited, namely:
1- Toxic and infectious substances, such as pesticides, agricultural chemicals, mercury compounds, bacteria and viruses.
2- Flammable liquids, such as gasoline lighters, lighter fluid, oil paint, glue and flammable perfumes.
3- Incendiary liquid materials, such as liquid batteries, mercury and hydrochloric acid.
4- Flammable and radioactive materials, such as drills, charcoal, firewood and all types of radioactive materials prohibited at the international level.
5- Compressed gases, such as gas cylinders, refill cylinders, butane lighters, diving cylinders, camping gas, butane gas and vaporizers.
6- Explosives, such as toys, firecrackers, ammunition, gunpowder, lighting missiles and warning missiles.
7- Oxidizing materials, such as oxidizing chemicals, peroxides and bleach powders.
8- Other items such as infant formula, antiques and historical artifacts, domestically manufactured and unregistered human drugs, or re-exported drugs (subsidized goods).
9- Various dangerous goods, such as magnetic goods, motors, carbon dioxide and lithium batteries.
