She indicated that the company seeks to improve and develop production methods, using the best modern technology by working to develop the capacities of the company to use Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technology, through the implementation implementing pilot projects in order to reach target production capacity, and to continue to keep the gas flaring rate below 1% at the level of the Kuwait Oil Company, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa.

The company is working on the implementation of a number of important projects during the year 2021 to increase crude oil production capacity, in line with strategic directions. The company is also looking forward to continuing construction work on Gathering Center 32 in the south and east operating area. of Kuwait, to deal with the production of sour oil from the Manaqeesh reservoir in the Burgan field, noting that the company has an extensive drilling program to develop newly explored oil reservoirs.

The sources indicated that “Kuwait Oil” has developed a number of programs to be implemented during the current year focused on water treatment and pumping of reservoirs to increase their production capacity and maintain the production capacity of free gas and increase it from 500 million to one billion cubic feet, improving the productivity of the three production units of the Jurassic, in addition to continuing the project of the fourth and fifth installations during this year, as well that to start the implementation of the offshore drilling project, within the framework of onshore and offshore exploration operations to support the production capacity of the company.
