As for the actor, Qassem Melhou, he launched a scathing attack on influential people within the art community, and said in a post on his Facebook page: “Oh, the art community … I read your obituary of Al-Mansi Farouk Al-Jama`at. Al-Jama`at was born in 1958 and is from the town of Jabab, east of Daraa. He graduated from the theater department of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art in 1983.

Al-Juma’at preferred to remain in the arms of the Assad regime and maintained close relations with loyal representatives, but he was not known to have public positions in favor of the regime like his colleagues.

Despite his long years in the Assad Artists Syndicate, he never managed to take the lead or any major role, but his roles were generally secondary, and the roles of policeman, officer or of the obedient security man stuck to him. .

What distinguished him most was the Bedouin dialect, and among the most important series in which he participated were “Al-Jawareh”, “Al-Fawares”, “Nahayat a Brave Man”, “Stain of Disgrace” and “Al -Tawarid “, in addition to the movie” Sabah Al-Layl “and some radio series.
