News 24 | Sources: Looming decision to allow under-18s to travel to Bahrain

Sources expected a decision to be released soon to allow the under-18 age group, which is vaccinated with two doses, to travel to the Kingdom of Bahrain via King Fahd Causeway.

The sources said the expected decision comes in light of the increase in the number of people immunized with two doses and the decrease in corona infections in the Kingdom and Kingdom of Bahrain, and on the basis of what has been submitted. by the committee responsible for monitoring the evolution of the state of health of the Corona virus in Saudi Arabia.

She indicated, according to the newspaper “Al-Youm”, that the General Directorate of Passports has submitted a request to higher authorities in this regard, and that it should be approved in the coming weeks.

It should be noted that the Interior Ministry decided last May to limit citizens’ travel to the Kingdom of Bahrain to people over 18, who have completed Corona doses or who were immune and recovering.
