Elon Musk with his partner Grimes
SpaceX and Tesla co-founder Elon Musk has announced his separation from his partner, Canadian singer Grimes, after a 3-year relationship.
“They still love each other, get along a lot, and have a great relationship,” Musk told Page Six, but the work still keeps them apart for long periods of time.
He added, “My work with SpaceX and Tesla requires my presence in Texas primarily or overseas travel, and his work is centered in Los Angeles.”
Grimes is yet to comment on his relationship with Elon Musk and their split.

It is reported that the relationship of Musk and Grimes, real name Claire Ellis Bouchet, started in 2018, and they have a son named X Æ A-Xii, who was born in May of last year.
Musk was previously married before he met Grimes, Canadian writer Justin Wilson and British actress Tallulah Riley.
