And he stressed that there will be no complacency in the application of the maximum legal penalties against all those who have committed the crime of concealment who have not requested to correct their status during the period of correction which will end on 15 Rajab 1443 AH corresponding to February 16, 2022.
The ministry called on all violators of the anti-concealment system to expedite the correction and take advantage of the benefits approved by the regulation to correct the status of violators of the anti-concealment system, which includes exemption from the penalties provided for in the regime and its regulations. consequences, retroactive exemption from income tax and guarantee of the regular exercise of economic activities.
The anti-concealment system provides for the application of sanctions against offenders of up to 5 years imprisonment or a fine of up to 5 million riyals or both, and the confiscation of illegal assets and funds for the perpetrators. of the crime of concealment.
The system also imposes other ancillary sanctions such as the expungement of files, the liquidation of the activity, the cancellation of licenses, the prohibition of the practice of a commercial activity, the collection of zakat, fees and taxes, and the removal of those who are hidden from the Kingdom and prohibiting them from returning. work.
