Al-Marsad Newspaper – Agencies: The Committee on Petroleum Product Prices in Egypt decided on Thursday to increase the prices of all types of gasoline by 25 piastres per liter, starting this Friday morning.
Under the new pricing, 95 gasoline will increase by 2.9%, 92 by 3.2% and 80 by a 3.8% increase, for the third quarter of this year.
According to the Cairo 24 website, these prices will be fixed at least until the end of this year, until the next meeting of the automatic pricing committee.
The new rates were as follows:
80 liters of gasoline: 7 pounds.
One liter of gasoline 92: 8.25 pounds.
One liter of 95 gasoline: 9.25 pounds.
Ton of diesel for the industrial sector: 4,200 pounds.
Cubic meter of natural gas for cars: 3.75 pounds.
The Automatic Fuel Pricing Committee has decided to increase gasoline and diesel prices by 25 dollars, and this will be officially implemented starting Friday morning.
