PhotoOne of the new tests to determine the incidence of diabetes and heart disease in the early stages has become possible.

This may offer a new way to detect people who are suffering from the disease faster and more easily than current methods, including blood tests and the assessment of risk factors such as obesity and antecedents family.

The New Scientist website said the method was effective because glucose in the blood and other body fluids could be stuck indistinctly to many different protein molecules in the skin and in other tissues.

The accumulation of blood sugar in the tissues occurs naturally with age, but accelerates in diabetics or the early stages of the disease that have not yet been diagnosed.

The Netherlands Diagnoptics has developed a small portable device called the final blood sugar product reader, which illuminates the skin with fluorescent light to detect wounds.

The meter can be measured in the new device because the skin infected with diabetes reflects the fluorescent light differently from that of the disease-free person.

This type of diabetes test was part of a broader, 30-year scientific study in the Netherlands involving more than 70,000 people without diabetes or heart disease at the time of the study.
