Mohamed El Khouly, Egyptian Vice President, said his club had agreed with Brazilian coach Sergio Farias to take over the technical management of the team, replacing Mimi Abdel Razek.
"We have agreed with Farias on all the details of his contract," Khouli told FilGoal.com.
"Only the agreement with his assistant is now in the hands of another club and he is now trying to break his contract and join us."
"There is no difference in financial terms with the Farias and all the agreements went well," he said.
"The current coaching staff of the team will continue with the new coach and his assistant."
Farias, 51, has been coaching for Brazil for less than 17 years and 20 years and has led the United Arab Emirates team Al Ahli and Jeddah earlier.
Farayas led Hilal's Sudanese team from November 8, 2017 until his removal from office at the end of March this year.
