The African Football Confederation (CAF) has decided to withdraw from Cameroon the organization of the 2019 Nations Africa Cup, media reports said.
The KAF executive committee held its meeting Friday in Accra, capital of Ghana, to discuss a number of important issues.
BN Sport Sport said the committee had decided to withdraw the tournament from Cameroon and that the opening of the tournament was open to countries wishing to host the tournament.
The tournament was to take place between 7 and 30 June 2019 with the participation of 24 teams for the first time, which took place in previous editions with the participation of 16 teams.
Egypt had already qualified for the finals of the 2019 Nations Africa Cup, finishing second in the 2017 final.
