American boxer Deontay Wilder has retained the World Boxing Council's heavyweight title after a draw with Britain's Tyson Fiori, who is still hot in Los Angeles.
The wolves were thrilled from start to finish, and the mighty punisher Wilder knocked down his Fury opponent twice, but the British dominated most of the time, taking advantage of smart footwork and a desperate defense.
Wilder or Fury has never lost. Wilder won 40 wins, including 39 knockouts.
Fiori has won 27 victories and the former British heavyweight champion returned to competition in June after more than two years of stopping.
