A Ukrainian boxer beats a world champion with a powerful knockout

Ukrainian boxer Alexander Gfuzdick won the World Boxing Council (WBC) World Heavyweight Championship title from Canada's Adonis Stevenson, beating him by knockout.

The Ukrainian boxer, former world champion at the end of the eleventh round, lost a powerful knockout. Although the Canadian boxer nearly lost his opponent in the tenth round, he found himself facing the fall that took place Sunday in the Canadian city of Quebec.

Alexander Gfuzdik, 31, won his 16th victory in 16 games he has played so far in his professional career, including 13 knockouts.

Adonis Stephenson, 41, suffered the second defeat of his professional career so far, up from 29 wins and one draw.
