Egyptian national team player Sara Essam and the Stoke City Women's Team were crowned Best of the Year 2018 by Arab Sports by the London Arab Foundation.

The London Arab Foundation announced yesterday the names of the winners of the first places in all fields. Sarah Essam, the best athlete, became the first Egyptian and Arab professional in the English Premier League.
Sarah Essam, 19, left the Tiger Valley to settle in Stoke City in 2017.
