For the first time, the Israeli army decides to recruit people living with HIV

To expand/ Tel Aviv: The IDF has decided for the first time to recruit people living with HIV into their ranks.

According to the Israel Hume newspaper on Sunday, the number of HIV carriers recruited each year is 10 to 15.

Soldiers who have been diagnosed with cancer and have contracted the disease will be able to return to the military and work in some combat units.
