– Many women think that urinary incontinence affects women as they get older, but this belief is false. It affects women, young and old, for many reasons.

According to several statistics, one in three women over the age of 35 has bladder weakness, making her more vulnerable to urinary incontinence.

The three main causes of female bladder weakness and, therefore, urinary incontinence are:

1 – simple urinary series
This type of urinary incontinence is the most common and usually affects women after menopause, during pregnancy. This may be due to weakness of the pelvic floor muscles, resulting in small leaks of urine when the bladder is under pressure, especially in case of coughing, sneezing or laughing, or during l? ;exercise.

2 – Bladder weakness caused by hyperactivity
This type of urinary leakage causes urinary incontinence due to impaired bladder activity, resulting in uncontrolled contractions and leaks. Eating too much caffeine and alcohol can discourage other liquids, urinary tract infections and urinary incontinence.

Chronic urinary retention
In this case, the bladder is unable to completely empty the urine and retains some of it, usually because of blockage of the urinary tract caused by the formation of stones.
