Ismailia coach, Jorvan Vieira, said he would meet Wednesday with the club's governing board in order to formally resign.
"We worked hard in Raja's game, but the shots on goal are lucky," Vieira told sports channel Abu Dhabi.
"I will meet Wednesday at Ismaily's board of directors to resign."
Ismaili has called the Arab Championship to lose the penalties of Moroccan Raja and should start his African campaign against Cameroon in the 32nd Champions League Sunday.
Ismaili is in a bad season for the league, with 13 points out of 13 games.
