Luis Garcia, a former Liverpool member, explained why our Egyptian star Mohamed Salah had not recently celebrated his goals for psychological and artistic reasons.

Salah scored the goal of Liverpool's Napoli victory at the end of the Champions League group stage, qualifying them for the 16th round of the competition.

"I think he does not feel what he felt last year," Garcia told BT Sports, explaining why Salah had not celebrated the goals recently.

"Last season everything was easy, but this year he played a few games, he has a lot of chances but he does not score."

Salah broke out with the Reds last season and scored 44 goals in 52 games, before posting mixed levels early in the current season and returning to his recent success.

"Maybe Salah is trying to prove himself, and he's done it again in Napoli," he said.

The Egyptian international scored its 13th goal of the season, including 10 in the English Premier League.
