InStagram wants to test a new type of account on its photo and video sharing service, these accounts being reserved for celebrities.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the new service will call "creative account" and will be dedicated to a small group of celebrities, as this new type of account provides them with tools of their own.
The site, named after the creator's account, follows the company profile centered on Instagram in 2016, which targets traditional talents, digital influencers and platform artists.
The service will include tools for content creators and creators, which will be part of the new accounts, such as growth statistics such as tracking data and cancellations, as well as direct messaging tools allowing users to distinguish between their friends 'and their brands' posts from others, Flexible tags allow users to define their own contact method.
Instagram is currently testing new features with a small pilot group before launching them to more target audiences next year.
Direct messaging tools will allow creators to filter their messages, classifying them as readable, illegible, and specific. They will also be able to organize their pending orders by relevance or time so as not to miss important orders.
InStagram, which has exceeded one billion users in June, has become popular among celebrities in recent years, allowing them to share their activities with fans through photos, videos or stories.
