Zamalek has officially lodged a complaint with the Football Federation because of the crisis and its dues to former goalkeeper Ahmed Al-Shennawi. The player of the pyramids will be examined.

Zamalek complained to the player that he had received 8 million pounds as a new contract supplier and Al-Shennawi refused to repay the amount after being transferred to Pyramids.
Majdi Abdul Ghani, board member of the Football Federation and chairman of the Gambling Affairs Committee, saidFilGoal.com: "Zamalek has lodged a claim for 8 million pounds, and the football federation has approached Pyramids in turn."
"We informed the pyramids of the request to submit Ahmed al-Shennawi to an investigation in order to solve his problem with Zamalek and set a limit to the crisis."

The 27-year-old left Zamalek after four seasons in the club's compound.
Al-Shennawi has played six games with the pyramids this season.
Al-Shennawi was injured in the knee, which prevented him from participating in the last World Cup in Russia.
