Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said his team had lost their temper during the Valencia clash and that was the reason they lost.
Manchester United sank 2-0 against Valencia in the last round of the Champions League.
"We have already scored two goals, but instead of winning, we lost," said Mourinho after the match.
"Yes, it's the result of our goals," he told BT Soprt.
He concluded his remarks "the lack of intensity and resolution in some situations cost us to lose tonight."
Manchester United defender Phil Jones scored the second goal for Valencia.
