Al Hilal announced that the Spaniard Jonathan Soriano had joined the group as of the winter transfer period.
The player arrived Friday morning in Riyadh, the Saudi capital, where he was subjected to a medical examination before signing a contract for one and a half years.
Soriano, 33, is currently with Chinese club Sinopu Juan of Beijing, who ends his contract at the end of the month.
