The former star of Al Ahly, Ala Mehoub, is excused for not continuing to chair the club's technical committee.
"The technical committee of Al Ahly will have no positive role in the coming period," said Alaa Mehoub. "I decided to resign."
"I'll be back in training," he told FilGoal.com.
"I wish all the best to Ahli and his board of directors in the next phase".
Alaa Mihoub met by telephone with Mahmoud Al Khatib, chairman of the Al Ahli club, to inform him of his resignation.
