A patient with advanced lung cancer in Singapore was conceived to celebrate his engagement with his girlfriend on a hospital bed, amid the joy of nurses and managers.
Bang Ming Kong, 58, and his wife, 49-year-old Koh Suh Kwan, shared an alliance at Mount Elizabeth Hospital with 50 family members and friends.
Bangs was admitted to the hospital last November and told officials that he wanted to hold the ceremony on his hospital bed during his fourth lung cancer treatment, after pronouncing a speech in front of his girlfriend during his visit to the hospital, reported the Straits Times on the Internet.
The bride said that Bang was optimistic and was doing her best to overcome the side effects of chemotherapy and that this week's engagement ceremony was a surprise to her. The hospital staff planned everything for the bride and groom, sang and gave them roses and decorated the place with balloons.
