American Denis Kenan, 66, has been cured of lymphoma after doctors have submitted a new treatment they have described as promising, Fox News reported.
The new test is a cancer treatment using T cells, one of the body's immune system components, shaped similar to that of a T-shaped microscope, hence its name.
Increased use
The use of T cells in the treatment of cancer has become increasingly "clinical" and has proved effective in a large number of cases. His idea is to extract the T cells from the patient's blood and then inject them with the "antigen-antigen receptor," which can target and eliminate cancer cells. Kenan was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 and the cancer began to spread gradually in the chest and lungs.
Kenan was treated for nine years until she was completely cured. "She was almost certain that death was her inevitable fate, she always tried to convince me for years, but all of that changed completely after following the new treatment."
