Manchester United has announced the appointment of Uli Junar Sulchar as coach until the end of the season.
According to the official United Nations website, Solchar is responsible for the first team to remain in place until the end of the season and will be joined by Mike Feylan as the first team coach, alongside Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna.
Solchar played for United and scored 126 goals in 366 games with the Red Devils between 1996 and 2007.
"Manchester United is in my heart, it's a pleasure to come back to that role.
"I look forward to working with our talented team, staff and all club members."
United announced Tuesday the departure of Jose Mourinho after the fall of his team in sixth place in the Premier League English standings with 26 points.
